Clean Water!

Clean Water is an essential human need. Without it, our survival is impossible. The village wakes each day with the crucial need for water.  And, it is the women who collect water making the 6 mile loop to and from the river. Once water arrives in the village, it takes 1.5 hours to boil out impurities. People are at high risk for infection and disease. 

Manoa village lies far into the bush and the people living here do not have access to non-profit agencies nor government support. This project presents the opportunity to directly support the village with your contribution. 

Solution: Water provides increased health and stability for the village. Clean water means this village may be given the opportunity to  grow a garden. That means fresh food for the children and a basket full of vegetables to carry to the market. Creating a well in the village creates stability and purpose for the women They may drink, cook and  bathe in clean water with their children. They are learning to farm and create business in the market may farm and bring the harvest to sell.
